Hi,
I have a X4600 M2 with eight CPU's on Try & Buy and want to disable four
of them so an old build of Red Hat will boot. I don't have the filler
panels so can't remove the CPU boards. If I do I am left with only one
CPU/two cores.
In the BIOS you can select manual CPU selection and 4P but it always
resets back to 8P.
Is there a BIOS update to fix this?
