When using an HP ScanJet 3670, why would someone choose one of the
following drivers over the other?
HP Scanjet 3600 Series TWAIN 1.0 (32-32)
WIA-HP Scanjet 3600 Series 1.0 (32-32)

Depends on who you trust more to develop a working driver for your 3670 :-)

This would be the one provided by HP.
For updates you'd have to check the HP-website
(or maybe install a HP-provided tool to do this automagically/periodically).

This would be the one provided by MS (probably with some help from HP).
And (maybe) automagically maintained by Windows Update.
Unless I have a specific need for the WIA-driver (software
that does not like/understand TWAIN), I would go for the HP one.
