Hi,
I have an Exabyte M2 hooked up with a 50pin converter to the 50 pin
cable to the PC card and it won't work with Adaptec Slim scsi 16 bit
pcmcia card installed in the laptop.
Am I correct in thinking that it's just not powerful or the right spec
for this drive to be recognized by the OS or do you think that the tape
drive is just fubarred? I have used an external 68 pin hard disk with
this setup with no issues so I know the converter and cabling are good.
