I thought I'd buy a webcam to generally communicate via pictures over the
internet. I decided to try it outdoors, and found out that it was
overwhelmed by the light. I've looked at every control I could find, and
none of them help. Exposure, gain, brightness, contrast, color. I did take
some night time shots but have not processed them. Has anyone experience
with this camera?

What "possibly" may help...Get hold of a pair of cheap sunglasses, remove
one lens & place it over the lens of the webcam. Use tape or find another
means of attaching it. Remove the the sunglass lens when using the webcam
indoors or outside during the evening.

I have the same problem as W. Watson. Is there another alternative that
might be more effective that's also cheap?
Cheers :D
