the past few days I have been encountering constant errors when trying to log in on Windows Live Messenger.
Despite what the error box says, I can, however log in on the other computer (which is the kids computer actually)
It was running fine until 23rd December until i logged off about mid-day.
When I booted up the computer again about 5-ish in the afternoon it began to be a general pain in the ***.
So.. I ran my AV proggy and spyware proggy.. no infections and no viruses.
I run a defrag.. I run a few registry cleaners.
And I still cannot connect with Msn on this computer.
I try reconfigure the firewall settings.
Nope. Didnt help.
I think I've run just about everything I can think of.
Does anyone know what to do?
Or suggest something?
And oh.. yes.. I've done uninstalling it and reinstalling it again.. didn't help.

Have you tried registering dll files
| Quote: | | If the error continues to appear it is most likely because the Windows digital signatures system is damaged or corrupt. To resolve this you will have to register several dll files that are required for Messenger. You can do this automatically by running a batch file we created or if you prefer by executing the commands yourself. |
as per http://www.imzers.com/msn/solve/error-code-80072efd
I'm not sure if it's going to help, but perhaps worth trying? _________________ Overclocked |
