I am running XP home. I tried to install a flashdrive, then Firefox would not open; I tried to uninstall the flashdrive and FF still will not open. When I click on the icon it will blink once or twice then nothing. Can anyone help?

Hi, I use Firefox and never had no problems, perhaps asking have you tried a restore to an earlier date before the problem might be worthwhille if not I certainly would give it a try, you'll get to it from clicking Start and Help & Support.

If that don't work may be having a look at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/support/ think its the first option you'll want 'Firefox will not Start'.

Failing that maybe a re-install of Firefox would be helpful, you didn't say which version of Firefox 1.5 or version 2, before a re-install of Firefox I would certainly pay their FAQ a visit.

Have you tried un-installing it in safe mode 'might' be worth a try.

You may also want to run Firefox in a "safe mode" - just go to Start > Program Files > Mozilla Firefox > Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode). If it runs ok then I'd suspect some of the installed extensions.

or use opera! beter then fire fox! easy to use! and has alot more beter stuff! i use firefox befor but opera is beter with cool skins and that!! You shold get it!
Or trying re-instelling firefox agen.
