Hi - Can someone give me some advice, please? I have a Dell laptop that
is six months out of warranty in the UK , and the internal Sony D56A
CD/DVD rewriter no longer writes CDs. Seems to read them and write DVDs
for the time being.

I want to get an external USB kit that writes CDs and DVDs, but don't
want to get caught again. Can anyone recommend a reliable brand.

Or is it asking too much of a drive to *reliably* write CDs and DVDs.
Should I buy a separate CD writer?
