Our mail server based on the above board, recently had a raid drive fail
on it. (maybe)

It's hard to tell, but it continually was reporting corrupted files.
(RAID 1 Array) Pulling out the bum drive fixed the problem. But wasn't
the point of Raid 1 that it would tell you that the drive was bad,
instead of continually corrupting files?

Is this a known issue with the Broadcom HT1000 chip. And why Raid isn't
supported on the S3970 with the same chip?
