| In that case, Microsoft hasn't really changed anything. -Dave
They've changed as little as they could. IMHO Microsoft's ultimate goal is to
get maximum money from every customer while giving the customer as little as
possible. They may have retreated from the one-transfer position momentarily,
but you can be sure the net outcome will be a gain in their favor.

Does the phrase "power to the people" strike a chord with any of you?
No big corporaton will do the right thing (put people first) unless they
feel forced to. We have to use people power to keep those Bozos on
their toes. |

Can you blame MS for trying to limit the OEM version? You can buy it on
eBay without ANY hardware (kinda strange). Or just walk into a local
computer store and buy a 3 dollar PSU or 5 year-old motherboard and get the
OEM copy for half the price of the boxed unit. Not saying what they are
attempting is legal or not, however it is a business. They are trying to
get people who treat the OEM like a retail version to pay for what they are
getting.
