Somethings wrong thats for sure.
The video card 'could' be faulty, it may not have been inserted correctly or it may have just been one of those coincidences where the power unit 'pops its clogs'.

Whether the mobo has been damaged in the process you'll won't know until you replaced the power supply, to be on the safe side I'd replace the graphic card as well ensuring it's one recommended for the mobo in question.

Can't say anything else at the moment as little information is given, giving the mobo type, graphic card in question and the power supply Wattage may throw some light.

Whats the reason for changing the graphic card..?? One reason could be that the power unit just could not cope with the extra load.

Yikes... a screw rolling about could have caused almost anything to happen.

If nothing happens when you try this or that maybe a good bet is to try and boot with no graphic card..... if all is OK you should get a load of error beeps at least you'll know the computer is asking for the graphic card.

Then you just gotta start somewhere, whether its a power supply or graphic card. Trying these in another computer or trying these parts from another computer... well, it's a gamble as you don't know what's gonna happen either way.
