|
|
Hey all,
TIA for any replies, info.
I've decided to try a shuttle for my next PC. Cruising the pages of ebay
and looking at specs on the shuttle website I see there is a LOT to
choose from. I've been a fan of AMD for some time so that cuts the
choices down some.
Is there any rhyme or reason to how shuttle names their boxes? I have
noticed the suffix seems to indicate the case style, but havent decoded
anyhting else.
Any tips on what would be a good one without breaking the bank?
Any models to stay away from??

I have the Shuttle AK32VN with an AMD Athlon XP2400 and just 512MB Ram
running WINXPHome, and I have been running it over 3 years with no problems.
I did up my power supply to a very good one though. I don't overclock and I
don't game but sometimes I do some movie editing and burn it to DVDs.
I only purchased this BYOPC components due to some fantastic rebates from
MicroCenter. <g>
