Hello Everyone,

Im faced with a small problem cant seem to fix. I have a cd/dvd rom player
and a cd/dvd burner installed on my system and recently both of these have
started to play up.

I have them set up with 2 seperate cables on mainboard. My problem is that
whenever I insert a CD or DVD in either of them to view their content they
wont refresh the directory when I insert another CD or DVD. The previous
directroy still comes up. I have treid clicking on the refresh icon but to
no avail.

Q. Are both drives stuffed and require replacement or is it some corupt file
within win XP pro that is causing this problem. if its a file where do i
find it?

Performing the diagnostics on both drives results state they are working
ok and no conflict with other hardware.

Any assistance appreciated..
