I have a Gateway Profile 4 with a 15 inch screen. I'd like to have a 17 inch
screen. I see 17 inch screens/bezels, video cards, and inverter cards
offered on eBay.
1. Can this upgrade be compatibly performed?
2. What are the components needed? (anything more than mentioned above?)
3. How to get screen off? I have removed the 4 tabs on the sides and removed
the screws, but the screen won't budge. From the appearance of the back-side
of screens in ebay pics, there appears to be little else if anything holding
the screen on. What am I missing?
4. If the case needs to be disassembled, would anyone of you be able to tell
me the proper disassembly sequence?
