I have a 7 CD set called Totally Mad, and it's a hassle to have to
always put CD's in, change the CD when you need to go from disk 2 to
disk 6, etc. So, having plenty of HD space, I want to run the program
from HD.

VaporCD lets you copy a CD to hard drive and then map the location on
hard drive to a drive letter. I played around with this with Totally Mad
but it's not really satisfactory. I mapped disk 1 to M:, then disk 2 to
N:, then disk 3 to O:. I then ran the application, Totmad.exe and it
opened the disk 3 image, the last one mounted. The other two weren't
available.

Ordinarily, of course, you are supposed to change the CD in the CD
drive, but I'm running it from HD. The only way I see that I can change
from one CD image file (VaporCD image file) is to:

1. Unmount the one currently mapped to O:
2. Mount the desired image file to O:

That's already more trouble than swapping out the CD's.

There has to be a cool easy way to write the 7 CD's to HD and switch
between them. I've seen references to Deamon Tools and CD-Cracks, but
don't know if they'd work any better. Anyone know?

Thanks!

Dan
