Wondering if I could get a little help with my internet problem.....
I can't seem to connect to the internet via broad band it gives me that Internet Explorer default error message), but I can recieve a wireless connection that works fine, like if I'm at Starbucks or something.
I figured it might be a driver that's not intalled but I tired reinstalling them
all last night which turned out fine. |

Sounds like your ethernet adaptor is not active in your hardware profile. in Windows click start, Settings, Network and Dial up Connections, Local Area Connection, You should be able to enable it on this window. If you have both installed, click properties you should see your network adapters, click configure, you should see a window that says device usage, select Use this device (enable), then OK.
in Linux the procedure is simular exept the commands activate, deactivate. |
