I recently installed a Sony 820a. I also had a tdk420a installed.
Everything seemed to be working fine with both recorders when the tdk
started having the tray stay open and would not close. So I took out
the tdk recorder and put the sony 820a recorder in as the master. Only
drive on the cable.
Now it will not find the Sony and I get a message saying it found the
new cdrom. Another message pops up saying it can not install the cd
rom. If I put the old cd samsung in as the master and the sony in as
the slave it will recognize the sony but not the old cd samsung.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this?
When I try to reload the drivers from the disk I just get the original
message that the drive can not be installed.
