I have an old ISDN modem (USB) that I used when I had ISDN lines at my home.
The modem had emulator software that enabled using it as a regular modem.
I have long since given up the ISDN but could use the modem. Is it possible to
use the ISDN modem over regular POTS line? I was thinking of using the emulator
software.

Not a chance, unless it's *very* odd hardware. The signals and wiring are
rather different.
