I have a Gateway VX900T 18 inch viewable CRT monitor. It's about 2
years old. Recently, I have been hearing a soft, but persistent clicking
sound inside the monitor. If I touch the side of it, or stop moving, the
sound stops. Any ideas what the heck this can be? It's starting to become
quite a nuisance. |

I just placed a moderately heavy book on top of the monitor, and now
the clicking sound is gone.
