Started having a strange problem with my power options in XPHome the
last couple of days. I have the Power Option set to always show the
icon in the task bar. I also have the "Hide Inactive Icons" on the
task bar unchecked so all icons are always visible. I have the Power
Option Icon set to be in the Task Bar so I can change power options
easily on the laptop.
Now, starting two days ago, every time I boot up, the Power Options
icon is not on the task bar and the Power Options area where you check
the box to put it there is unchecked. What is unchecking the "show
Icon in Task Bar" for my power options?
The only software I have added since I noticed this start happening is
DVD Decrypter version 3.1.7.0
No software or OS updates have been done since noticing the start of
the problem.
SpyWare and Virus scanning both show nothing.
