My computer has recently developed an annoying habit of losing the broadband
connection after being in screensaver mode for say 15 min. After logging out
(Win 2000) and logging back in the connection is back. I have Norton AV and
IS running and up-to-date. I have tried virus scans and found nothing. I
also downloaded the latest SP from MSoft. So far it seems o.k.
Is there anything else that I can do? Can a .scr file corrupt my system? I
found a weird file in my Newsbin download directory. I figured that Norton
should be able to protect my system.
