This upgrade project statring with a practically never used packard
bell 820 multimedia. never used beacause right out of the box some
one tore out the cmos. whats the skinny on cmos? any will do?
alternatives? PB documentation terrible so I have to wing alot of it.
I think I recognize some power jumpers on mob?
Any help appreciated on this mob.

The cmos battery is not terribly critical...
As long as you replace it with one of the same physical size & voltage...
the exact mfg. and model # is not important |
