|
|
Am thinking of a Profile 5 as a Christmas gift for someone who mostly does web
surfing, email and looking at photos (not editing), a computer newbie older
adult -- no games or heavy use, but needs a user friendly machine.
I see the Profile 5 is just out. Anyone have experience with it, or general
recommendations regarding the all-in-one Profile line previous to this one?
Waiting for the local store to get one in.
Thanks for any thoughts. |

I considered buying the Gateway Profile 4x earlier this year. But I
read a lot of negative comments about it at cnet.com and in this newsgroup.
So I bought a Dell 2400 Dimension instead.
Still, the Profile series is a nice-looking machine. And quite
powerful.
