Well after 3 years (replacement) my EV700 the cord is starting to go
have to have it just right to view. I am looking at buying a new
flatscreen CRT and would like some recommendation.
I have checked Tom's Hardware but is seems to be very commericalized.
I have also look at PC World PC Magazine CNET and TechTV. I am looking
at 17" beige only.
SamSung SyncMaster 755
Eizo_FlexScan But understand a little costly.

The NEC LCD1760V is a solid performer unless you want dual (analog &
digital) input... great reviews & specs for $389.

Sorry, didn't read close enough...
The Nanao (EIZO) FlexScan's are very, very high-end and priced accordingly.
You can get a suitable monitor for 1/3 the price... besides, the T566 (17")
only comes in grey.
The SyncMaster 755 has been discontinued/replaced by 757MB (MagicBright)
which comes well reviewed and highly recommended... $139 + $19.99 S&H at
Legend Micro:
www.legendmicro.com/store/more_info.asp?product_ID=3163
If you don't need the 757's extreme UXGA (1920 x 1440) resolution, the 753DF
(DynaFlat) would be a good choice and is in stock and on sale this week at
Page Computer for $119 & free shipping:

Hi,
I am not seeing free shipping for the 757 at the Page website. Their site
adds $28.52 shipping when you click on the buy button. Is there something I
am missing?
Thanks.

Attempt it from their PriceGrabber link:
www.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=295472/search=753DF/ut=4122

If it still doesn't work, contact them to see if they will honor the free
shipping listing.

Page insists that the monitor was never offered with free shipping even
after I forwarded them the Pricegrabber link. Therefore, they would not
honor the free shipping listed. As such, I bought two of the monitors from
Gateway instead.
Thanks!
