Is it possible, assuming you have 2 HDs to have Win XP continually
write to both drives so that a perpetual backup is make?
If so, how? |

It is called RAID...the link will take you to a site that will explain |
all about it...

It is true that it is called RAID (RAID1 in this case), but it's -not-
backup - it is redundancy.
Backup means to a removeable medium that you can store off-site. RAID 1
will be useless in the case of a power supply that goes and takes both
drives with it, or if a fire destroys the PC.
RAID1 does provide a mirror copy that can be easily brought online in case
of a failure of either drive - but it won't protect you in case you install
a driver that hoses the system, since the same changes would be made to both
drives.
If you're looking for fault tolerance, RAID1 is an answer. If you're
looking for backup, it is not.
