my computer has some serious problems. at this point im thinking i should
take my gateway to the nearest service center (in New jersey!) but i know ed
j. neth and others here know a lot, so hopefully one of you can help me
again.

anyways, i left my computer on one day, and when i came home, my computer
was perpetually rebooting. it would start up and ask if i wanted to boot in
safe mode, or normally, etc.
whatever i chose it would just reboot as soon as i chose it.
i ran gwscan on my hardrive, it said it was ok, and i ended up fdisking my
drive and reformating and reinstalling XP. now i can get into safe mode, but
whenever i start normally as soon as it passes the XP flash screen, the
screen turns blank (theres is no video signal coming through at all, no
matter what cable/monitor is used.)

any ideas what could be wrong? i have a feeling it might be a hardware
problem but i dont know what? harddisk, powersupply? any solution other then
just sending it to gateway?

Is it connected to the Internet, and if it is, is it up to date on patches
and antivirus software?
