I have a major problem... after the daylight savings reminder came on today
I started having trouble. I was in AOL and the computer froze. It would
not reboot and I could not use the GoBack feature. I have tried rebooting
numerous times as well as turning the computer off for a long time and
retrying.

I get the following error message as the computer tries to reboot:

"GoBack (141) GoBack needs to reboot your computer because your system has
become unstable. This could be caused by memory failures, unreliable hard
disk transfers, or overclocking the CPU or other components. Code 0x1"

Can anyone help? It just keeps rebooting and saying the same thing. I can
get into the Setup Screen but nothing I can think of changes anything. I
had to go buy a NEW computer today because of this!

I appreciate anyones assistance...

If you are still in warranty, contact Gateway tech support. If I recall
correctly, there is a common issue with GoBack regarding time changes. There
were a couple of workarounds that often fixed the issues, but if not, the
ultimate result will be erasing the drive and starting clean.
I've used GoBack in the past and loved it when it was working, but if it
ever had an issue, it was unbelievably troublesome...
If I can find the information regarding the issue, I'll post it here.
Good luck.
