Hi,
Here are two great monitors utilizing the same DiamondTron 22" tube
but not knowing all the subtleties I'm looking for input on their
finer differences. The iiyama supports slightly higher refresh rates
but nothing that I think would make a major qualitative difference. On
the other hand the Mitsubishi has the NaViSet software that allows you
to adjust screen settings using your mouse or keyboard.
Can anybody comment on why they might choose one above the other?

Sony F-series FD Trinitrons all the way.

Sony, i dont really rate them personally, had too many of their 17" go out
on me...
have an iiyama now, love the quality, and the sharpness (brightness is
really good too)
Personally go to a computer store and try to see both monitors at the same
time, Mitsubishi, are a good quality company, just like iiyama

Same with the 17" FD trinitrons (i've got one now on its way out -
jittering).
The F-series are something different though.
