Has anyone a clue when Intel will be releasing a BIOS for the 875PBZ,
that will allow a user to utilize RAID 1 from the chipset? RAID 0, 1
were advertised and so far, only RAID 0 is possible.

Thanks.

Heh, thanks for the link. The IAAR v3.5 runs in parallel to the BIOS
which supports it. Apparently, Intel said it does support RAID 1, but
the drivers and BIOS aren't released yet. In fact, they released IAAR
v3.5 *before* the appropriate BIOS update. That version of the IAAR
relies on features not yet installed in my motherboard BIOS.

Firstly, does Intel actually have plans to support RAID 1 with the above
motherboard?
And secondly, why run the mirroring in hardware as opposed to using the OS
to mirror the disks?
