This motherboard worked fine for about six months. It "talks" when there is
a problem. Once when the keyboard wasn't plugged in all the way it said
"Keyboard or mouse, we have a problem" during bootup. I never heard it speak
again until one day last week.
I had been working as usual on the computer when suddenly everything just
froze up. The only solution was to hit the reset button. As it was
rebooting, I heard: "PCI card, we have a problem" repeated over and over,
and the bootup would not finish.
AOpen says try moving the pin on Jumper 14 from 1-2 to 2-3, which clears the
CMOS, and if this does not solve the problem, the motherboard is no good.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue, and what was the
outcome. |

| I forgot to mention there is no PCI card in the board. |

Maybe it's one of the PCI devices on the board then? Try turning some
off in bios, like ethernet or firewire or whatever. |

My ak77 600 max regularly gives the keyboard and mouse message. I've foumd
that the easiest way to sort it is to turn off the mains and reboot. If the
keyboard lights don't flash on startup I know the message will appear.
