In my photo`s folder under my documents I have a sub folder for recently uploaded pictures waiting to be organised, the problem I am now having is that these pictures are no longer showing when I open this folder. It shows that there is 6mb of data in this folder but I cannot see them anymore. All my other picture folders are fine so I am perplexed as to what has happened. I am running XP professional.

HAve you tried looking at the folder display options.. try tools folder options > View. make sure the show hidden files and folders radio button is selected. also you can uncheck the hide protected operating system files.

Might be a virus or something... do a scan, it can't hurt.
