|
|
Hi All,
I have a Shuttle SK43G and recently put in an Athlon XP 3000+ (333fsb).
My problem is that I cannot get it to run above the speed of a XP 2800+. I
can only set the CPU Ratio to x20, any higher and the system fails to boot
and its reset CMOS time.
I'm guessing it could be a power draw issue and I need to increase it, but
i'm not sure about this.
I have the option for X21 and X22.5, My Ram is PC2700 166. so I'm guessing
there's no need to increase the clock rate?
All runs well at 2800 but it would be nice to run it up to its capabilities
hence to new CPU.
Thanks |
