It indicates that your board "might" support a 533MNz FSB Prescott, if the
board is a ver. 2 make.
Otherwise you're "relegated" to a Northwoods style cpu.

either close to the model no. or somewhere in a corner. |

I haven't actually got the board in my hot little hands yet. But the
seller provides a picture of an EP-4EA9I.

On the top lefthand corner there, it says REV: 0.2
Assuming there are only two versions of the board out there, that's
probably the second revision. Am I right? Is that how they tend to do
things at Epox?

Yes, that's the way they do it, sometimes you find the revision
also close to the PS/2 or between the pci sockets,
but that picture must be a preproduction unit,
in the field you should only find 1.x and 2.x revisions.
