Anyone flashed the BIOS on this mobo to v1.13 and had trouble getting it to
recognize an Adaptec AHA-2930CU SCSI card? After I flashed it, I no longer
see the Adaptec banner during the POST. After trying the card in several
different PCI slots, I just can't seem to get the BIOS to recognize it.

I learned from Adaptec's web site that there are a number of reasons why the
banner may not be displayed, among them being that the AHA-2930CU requires a
bus master PCI slot that is v2.1-compliant. They go on to say that this "bus
master" feature may be enabled or disabled in the BIOS.

I also noticed in the list of PCI devices that appears during the POST that
the AHA-2930 is listed as a "Mass Storage Contrlr" and as "Device 6" on "Bus
2". I have another system with the same card installed, and which is
recognized by the BIOS on that system; I noticed in THAT PCI listing that
the SCSI card is on "Bus 0".

That brings to mind two questions:

1.) Should the SCSI card be on "Bus 0" instead of "Bus 2"? If so, how would
I configure this?

2.) How would I enable bus-mastering for a particular PCI slot?

Also installed in PCI slots on this motherboard are: 1) an ATI All-In-Wonder
Radeon 7500 video/TV tuner card, and 2) a Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live!
MP3+ sound card.

Thanks for any help!
