I have a new 2005 Chev. Colorado truck with an MP3/CD player. Some of the
disks I have burned start skipping after one or two tracks and sometimes
won't skip at all. I can play these disks in other car or home players and
on the computer without any problem. I am using the latest version of Nero
to burn the disks and an Asus 52X burner. All of the files are mp3 files
going in and Nero converts them to CD format files. I have tried different
media and it does not make a difference. I have been using Memorex for
several years now without problems. Any help appreciated.

Try slower burn, like 16x.
Try burn as data rather than audio - CD-ROM (ISO).
