First, I need to check how this server barebone support Adaptec ZCR, as
mentioned in Thunder K8SR (S2881) datasheet. I check thru the pricelist
& Tyan website but cannot find any SO-DIMM module which supports this
board. How about Adaptec SCSI RAID 2020ZCR controller, does it support
this barebone? If not, can I use Adaptec SCSI RAID 2130SLP and just
ignore the onboard SCSI controller or I can use the memory-slot/PCI
type ZCR solution available from Adaptec directly (Adaptec SCSI RAID
2015S or Adaptec SCSI RAID 2010S) which is cheaper than 2130SLP.
Second, for GX28-B2881S4H, can I use Adaptec Serial ATA RAID 2410SA
(64-bit/66MHz PCI) on the PCI-X slot available and disable the onboard
SATA controller?
Finally, need to know if GX28-B2881U4H & GX28-B2881S4H support Opteron
Dual Core (265/275) processor. Coz the Tyan website indicate that
latest revision of Thunder K8SR support Dual-core but did not mention
anything at the server barebone page.
