hello,
i have a bit of a problem. I'm trying to install XP on a chaintech
6ATA2-motherboard computer. in the beginning of this proces he gets
stuck and wont move on anymore with the installation. I've been
searching for a bios upgrade of this system and i have found out that
some peolple found the bios upgrade on some older chaintech website.
When i want to go to one of these sites i always get the message that
there is no site anymore. Can anybody help me to get a bios upgrade for
this 6ATA2 chaintech motherboard...or is this a hopeless case. Thanks
in advance...

first you might want to check the voltages on the psu molex with a
digital multimeter. sometimes winxp doesn’t load because of not enough
power. have you overclocked your system. try using the optimal
settings.
why not try chaintech support for the bios. i don’t know if it would
help though.
