This is a server board with onboard video. You don't need a video card.
In any event, you should have little problem finding a PCI video card that
works fine in a PCI-X slot.

One the S2885 there is a jumper J39 that puts the two 66 MHz
PCI-X slots into "PCI Compatibility Mode" so that ordinary 32
bit/33 MHz/5 Volt PCI cards can be used. There should be a
similar jumper on the S2880 and S2882. |

i just checked the slots on the pci-x - those and the reg pci are
different so how can u use a reg pci card in the pci-x?

It just doesn't use the whole slot. The unused portion is extra
data lines that are irrelevant when the slot is used in a 32-bit
mode.
If you have a PCI card that doesn't fit, then it is probably a
3.3 V card instead of a 5 V card. |
